- Local Exhaust System for Semi-Anechoic Chambers
Acoustic Power Measurement
In a VSAC (Vehicle Semi-Anechoic Chamber), vehicles are operated inside the semi-anechoic chamber for acoustic measurements.
Since the semi-anechoic chamber is an enclosed space, exhaust gases from the vehicle’s muffler must be discharged to the outside.
The photo shows the local exhaust system.
The exhaust outlet can be flexibly adjusted to match the position and height of the vehicle’s muffler.
This system is equipped with a dynamic exhaust fan connected to an externally installed silencer, allowing for high airflow while ensuring that fan noise does not affect the chamber’s low background noise environment.
