Simplified Performance Testing Using Anechoic Box + Sound Level Meter
Sound Insulation Performance of Anechoic Enclosures (Measured and Guaranteed Values)
Our anechoic enclosures provide both guaranteed and measured sound insulation values across a frequency range of 31.5 Hz to 8 kHz.
- Guaranteed Values: Manufacturer-guaranteed performance
- Measured Values: Actual results obtained from past measurements
In recent years, demand has increased for performance evaluation in higher frequency ranges beyond 8 kHz.
We have measured the sound insulation levels at 10 kHz, 12.5 kHz, 16 kHz, and 20 kHz, as shown below:
| Frequency (Hz) | 10KHz | 12.5KHz | 16KHz | 20KHz |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Measured Sound Insulation (dB) | 70.2 | 70.5 | 68.8 | 65.6 |
Although sound insulation values above 10 kHz are not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, the enclosure demonstrates excellent high-frequency sound insulation performance.
If you are considering an anechoic enclosure combined with a sound level meter, we hope this data serves as a helpful reference.
